Kitofit C
Chitosan – vitamin C tablet
Registered
food supplement which contains a premium quality chitosan derived from
Norwegian shellfish. Chitosan has the ability to absorb fat up to 20
times of its own weight.
Kitofit C also contains long
acting vitamin C which improves the fat absorbing effects of chitosan.
Chitosan absorbs the fat from the food so that the fat will
leave
the body naturally without absorbtion into the intestine helping with
your weight control.
Ingredients: chitosan (350 mg)
Dosage:
2 tablets 2 – 4 times a day, to be swallowed as whole with abundant
amount of water half an hour before a meal. The daily dosage should not
be exceeded and should be kept out of the reach of children.
8 tablets contain vitamin C 60 mg i.e. 100% of the recommended daily
allowance (RDA).

Chitosan
is a fibre derived from the shellfish chitin shells with an excellent
ability to absorb fats from food. Chitosan passes through the digestive
tract unchanged and absorbs at the same time a large amount of fat
which then leaves the digestive tract without absorption through the
intestines. Chitosan also has cholesterol lowering activity, decreasing
the total serum cholesterol and increasing HDL-cholesterol (good
cholesterol) levels in the blood. According to studies chitosan also
seems to slightly lower blood pressure as well.
The
long-acting vitamin C absorbs better and leaves the body slower than
ordinary vitamin C (ascorbic acid) helping to maintain sufficient
vitamin C supply during your diet.
