Colonic Plus for Lactose Intolerance
If you have lactose intolerance, milk sugar will pass into your large
intestine where bacteria feeds on the undigested lactose
causing the formation of gas which can be felt as bloating and wind.
Lactose also absorbs water into the intestine which can result in
diarrhoea.
Colonic
Plus for Lactose Intolerance is designed to replace the digestive
enzymes lactase and certain proteases which may be lacking if
you
have an intolerance to lactose.
IBS sufferers and people with coeliac disease (gluten intolerance) may
also suffer from lactose intolerance. Lactase
is an enzyme which hydrolyzes milk sugar (lactose) into glucose and
galactose which is then absorbed effectively from the small
intestine into blood
stream.
Colonic
Plus for Lactose Intolerance is a strong lactose (milk sugar)
hydolyser. One capsule contains 4500 FCC units of lactase enzyme which
hydrolyse the milk sugar lactose. Capsules also contain
protease
enzymes which efficiently hydrolyse most soluble proteins into a
better absorbed form.
Ingredients in daily dosage: Rice
bran (food quality), Microcrystalline cellulose E460, Gelatin (capsule
shell), Lactase 4500 FCC, Protease 4.5, 21000 HUT, Protease
3.0,
40.7 SAPU, Protease 6.0, 4000 HUT.
Product is yeast free and unsweetened
Dosage: 1 capsule with meal containing lactose
Package: 60 capsules / 37 g
Capsules
contain 4 500 FCC units lactase (FCC = Food chemical codex). In order
to get the best possible effect it’s advisable to take the capsule just
before a meal containing lactose. The capsules also contain
other
digestive aids in the form of three different protease enzymes which
support and complement each others functions to help digest protein.
